Willies-Tours-Cahuita-National-Park-Tour-Park-Before-Storm-at-Sunset For a day surrounded by breathtaking beaches and animals, The Cahuita National Park Tour is the best choice. The park was established in 1978 and has continued to be the only national park in Costa Rica to rely solely on donations. Donations received are put towards keeping the park in up most condition free of littering and maintaining the safety of the wildlife and visitors in the park. It is a highlight of the area extending from Cahuita to Puerto Vargas for a total of 8.1 Kilometers. The National Park is 58,836 acres of biologically diverse Marine Park containing wildlife that moves continuously according to the climate, temperature and lunar stations.

You will embark on a four-hour hike for a total of seven kilometers. The tour will begin at the entrance of Playa Blanca (White Beach) and continue on to the beautiful destination of Punta Cahuita returning and ending at the parks entrance. Your guide, a Cahuita native and naturalist, will take the time to explain the natural healing capabilities of various plants while sharing knowledge of the wildlife along the trail. You may see and hear a variety of wildlife along the trail such as Howler and Capuchin monkeys, Two-Fingered and Three-Fingered Sloths, a variety of snakes, lizards, birds and crabs. Watch out for the yellow eyelash viper, a beautiful yellow colored snake that is very poisonous and the Capuchin monkeys who have no problem snatching peoples bags in search of food.

The National Park is a wonderful way to escape either by walking on the beach near the beautiful blue waters or by following the park trail through the lush forest. On your way back from the tour you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful waters of Playa Blanca. Willies-Tours-Cahuita-National-Park-Tour-Capuchin-Monkey-White-Faced-Monkey

Willie’s Tours Costa Rica does the best to accommodate our clients, we recommend the Cahuita National Park Tour to begin right away in the morning between 8 and 9:30 or in the afternoon starting at 2. Starting off in the morning allows you the opportunity to see more wildlife, as it gets later in the day and temperatures rise animals try to stay cool away from the heat of the sun. Starting in the late afternoon you will see animals starting to come back out into view as they are preparing for night. Typically, you will hear the Howler monkeys’ claim their territory right before dusk as they do everyday to claim their territory. They howl in the morning and afternoon to let other Howler monkey packs know where they are, it’s a way of preventing fights among packs. Although we recommend early morning or afternoon the tour can leave any time that best fits your schedule.

For The Cahuita National Park Tour there is a two-person minimum. To ensure our clients satisfaction, we recommend making a reservation for this tour at least one day in advance.

We recommend bringing:
- Bug repellent
- Camera
- Money for Souvenirs
- Sport Sandals such as Teva or Keen
- Sun Screen
- Water

Cute Cahuita
Cahuita National Park was truly fabulous. Fewer people and more wildlife at this park. The trail was easy and well shaded. We saw many sloths, monkeys, snakes, turtles, lizards, bats, King Fishers, hummingbirds, insects, crabs, and more. If you are in this part of Costa Rica you should not miss the chance to go to Cahuita and Cahuita National park.

Choose an Iowa charity that accepts donations. Many well known charities accept Green Prom Dresses to sell in their consignment shops, but one Iowa charity, "Becca's Closet" accepts only Prom Dresses and accessories because of their specialization in making prom possible for Iowa girls.A-line Prom Dresses
