Panama/Bocas del Toro Tour is a great way to experience an enchanting area that is in close proximity to Costa Rica. At Willies Costa Rica Tours we strive to meet our clients needs, with this in mind came the creation of the Panama Bocas Transportation Package. This package includes round trip transportation and assistance with border crossing. The package was designed for faster transportation and ease with border crossing.

First thing in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel by private shuttle. Pick up can be made anywhere in the Caribbean of Costa Rica, the arrival at the border will depend on the town in which you are picked up. However, from the Cahuita/Puerto Viejo area you will reach the border in approximately an hour. Upon arrival at the border, we will assist you in the crossing process. After crossing the border, your next private shuttle will be awaiting you. This will shuttle will take approximately an hour to arrive in the town of Almirante, where you will take a water taxi to the Islands. This transportation brings you through rich lush Panamanian landscapes.

Arriving in Almirante you will board a water taxi that takes roughly an hour to reach Bocas del Toro. Take the time to look around, as picture opportunities will pass you the entire journey, passing small island formations and surrounding mountains. The biology of the islands are constantly changing, growing and reforming, due to the volcanic movement beneath the waters. Due to these precious habitats many areas are environmentally and biologically protected, such as Red Frog Beach.

Bocas is very diverse, with a population descending from Afro-Caribbean, pre-Colombian, Mestizos, Chinese cultures as well as foreigners from both North America and European countries. The mix of cultures creates a unique feel to the area.There are a variety of activities that can be done in the area, from biking, hiking and snorkeling.

Not to mention the abundance of National Parks and environmentally protected beaches and islands. There are boats looking to taxi you around and between the islands. Willie’s Costa Rica Tours can help you arrange accommodations for your stay in Colon/Bocas, Bastimentos or Isla Carenero. We recommend staying at least two nights, there is much to do and see in the area. One day is typically not satisfying enough for people. For those interested, the nightlife is very active with festivities every evening. For this package, it’s important for us to know your return date 24 hours in advance.

That way we can ensure that the transportation is arranged accordingly. For The Panama Bocas del Toro Tour there is a two-person minimum. To ensure our clients satisfaction, we recommend making a reservation for this tour at least a day in advance.
