First thing in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel by private shuttle. Pick up can be made anywhere in the Caribbean of Costa Rica. Arrival at the border will depend on where you are picked up, however, from Cahuita/Puerto Viejo area you will reach the border in approximately an hour. Upon arrival at the border, we will assist you in the crossing process.
After crossing the border, your next private shuttle will be awaiting you. This shuttle will take approximately an hour to arrive in the town of Almirante, where you will take a water taxi to the Islands. This transportation brings you through rich lush Panamanian landscapes. Take the time to look around, as picture opportunities will pass you the entire journey, passing small island formations and surrounding mountains.
