It is impossible to have a bad time when you are surrounded by such beauty and enthusiasm; the guides are there and ready to go, ensuring the best experience.

This whole day adventure begins with pick up at your hotel early in the morning from Puerto Viejo / Cahuita, La Fortuna or San Jose. From there you will travel to the service center where your luggage will be locked up and stored while you eat a delicious breakfast. After breakfast you will ride 30 minutes to your starting point in the river, along the way you will receive the do’s and don’ts while you are rafting. The equipment (including helmet, life vest and paddle) and the rafts will be awaiting you. Before starting you will have a short practice session in your raft, listening to and following commands from your guide. From the starting point you will spend four hours on the river with an hour stop for lunch along the river. Adrenaline, energy and excitement will pump through you for four hours going through 38 rapids with a distance of 18 miles / 30 kilometers. You will end where you began at the service center. There will be time to shower and change. After collecting your luggage you will board the appropriate shuttle to your next destination being La Fortuna, Puerto Viejo / Cahuita, or San Jose.

Rafting in Rio Pacuare Reservation
Hello,

I received your contact information from Ozkar from Hotel Perla Negra. I would like to go rafting on the Pacuare River on Friday, April 29th. I am traveling with one other person. If possible, we would like to be picked up at the Hotel in Puerto Viejo, and later dropped off in San Jose, if that is what your service offers. Please let me know if this works for you! Thank you very much!!
