The first stop is a brief stop at a typical Banana Plantation for a descriptive and sightseeing experience. Banana Export is one of Costa Rica’s main Agricultural Industry product introduced by the United Fruit Company in early 1900’s.

Our second visit is “Siruwe” or The Chocolate House to observe a demonstration about organic handcraft chocolate making. Moreover you will have chocolate tasting session and the option to buy organic chocolate. This will be also a cultural experience since the owner is a Bribri Indigenous Family, funded by Doña Petronila and her daughter Priscila as a Matriarchal Heritage.

A visit to Cahuita National Park Wildlife Reserve, will give you the experience to be in one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and well preserved National Park surrounded by a rich Tropical Biological Diversity; Tropical plants, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds, an authentic Tropical Heaven Paradise for Tropical Wildlife. In addition, you will be all along the trail next to beautiful white sand beaches where you can swim optionally. At the end, we visit a typical Reggae Bar and Restaurant in Down Town Cahuita, here optionally you can order Tropical Cocktails, Seafood Meal including lobster and enjoy Reggae Music and an authentic Costa Rican Caribbean ambiance.

We visited Costa Rica by cruise ship and had booked the hike/snorkel excursion. Unfortunately the waters were to rough to snorkel but Jorge was able to give us a great experience. We took a leisurely hike in Cahuita National Park and were able to see monkey’s, sloths and other wildlife.
