DAILY SHUTTLE TO/FROM BOCAS DEL TORO Islands, Panama

Luggage: 15 kilos maximum, our Almirante to Colon Island Taxi Boats are small and won´t accept excessive luggage/weight. In case you have excessive weight, you will be charged $10 extra. 

Departure: Puerto Viejo 8am  & 12pm         Cahuita: 7:30am & 11:30am

Departure from Bocas Town: 8am & 11:30am at Taxi 25 Main Harbor

Requirements: Passport, Flight Itinerary and $9 Customs fees and for those returning to Costa Rica.

From Costa Rica to Panama: You will be picked up at your hotel in Cahuita & Puerto Viejo around 8am or 11am by a private shuttle to go to the Costa Rica/Panama “Sixaola/Guabito”  border in approximately one hour drive. Once at the border, our representative will assist you with customs and Imigration process for your crossing. Your next shuttle transportation from Panama, Guabito will take around one hour to reach Almirante harbor.  A speed shuttle boat for a 30-minute trip to Bocas Town in Colon Island or also known as Bocas Town.

From Panama to Costa Rica: Coming from Bocas del Toro Islands to Puerto Viejo or Cahuita, our Boat Shuttle departure is at 8am and 11:30am at Taxi 25 Harbor in Bocas Town to Almiarante Harbor. Our Land Shuttle service will pick you up to the Panama/Costa Rica Border “Guabito/Sixaola”. From Sixaola our Costa Rica border Land Shuttle will transfer you to either Cahuita or Puerto Viejo.

Same route for the return trip.

Beware: This is a Shared Shuttle, there could be delays since we pick up in different locations. Crossing the border in high season and holidays could be very tedious and not a pleasant experience. Traveling with young children could be a challenge for parents. Please be patient since this is not a Private Shuttle, this is the Economical shuttle package.
