Cahuita National Park and Nature Reserve is a Marine Park composed by two Eco Systems, 1067 hectares of Rainforest of Flora and Fauna and 432 hectares of Marine Wildlife & Coral Reef. The park is surrounded by amazing tropical white sand beaches blue flag all along its trail path. Cahuita National Park is one of Costa Rica’s most visited National Parks due to its rick flora, Fauna and Coral Reef “Marine Wildlife”.

This is an ecological experience hiking with a local guide in the Cahuita National Park Rainfores protected area.
You will experience the rich biodiversity and tropical flora and fauna. It is a Therapeutic hike and not a rough one.
Your guide, a Cahuita native, will guide you through the Tropical Forest path bordeling along Playa Blanca (White Sand Beach) until you reach Rio Suarez, where the hike ends. You may see and hear a variety of fauna along the hike such as Howler and Capuchin monkeys, Two-Fingered and Three-Fingered sloths, a variety of snakes, lizards, iguanas, raccoons, birds and crabs. Watch out for the yellow eyelash viper, a beautiful colorful and poisonous snake, and the Capuchin monkeys who have no problem snatching people’s bags in search of food.
