Tortuguero is often called “The Amazon of Central America” because of its canals and abundance of wildlife.  According to National Geographic, 6% of the world wildlife is found in Tortuguero. The area is also famous for turtle nesting which occurs between early June and mid-October.

One Way Package

A transportation package to Tortuguero: the tour begins picking you up in La Fortuna at 7 am and 8:40am in Tortuguero Harbor. The shuttle will take you to the dock of La Pavona whether is an Inbound or Outbound Shuttle. Once in La Pavona,you will board a board either our Minibus or Boat Shuttle depending where is your destionation, Tortuguero Village or La Fortuna. The Boat Shuttle ride is aproximately 1.5 hour betwen La Pavona and Tortuguero Village.

Departure from Tortuguero at 8:40am to La Fortuna, arrival time would be around 2pm at La Fortuna main square, includes the Boat Shuttle for Tortuguero Village to La Pavona Harbor

Departure from La Fortuna at 8am to Tortuguero Village, arrival time would be around 2:00 pm, includes the Boat Shuttle fom La Pavona Harbor to Tortuguero Village
