Any PayPal reimbursement will include a Costa Rica IVA 13% Sales Tax. The best option is to choose another tour from our list if you have paid via PayPal.

For those going to La Fortuna, our drop off is at the Central Square, in front of the Catholic Church since many hotels are within 10 to 17 kilometers away from town, you can take Uber or any Taxi to your hotel.  Unless your hotel is in down town, we can drop you off.

Tortuguero is often called “The Amazon of Central America” because of its canals and abundance of wildlife.  According to National Geographic, 5% of the world wildlife is found in Tortuguero. The area is also famous for turtle nesting which occurs between early June and mid-October.

Tortuguero – La Fortuna/San Jose Package

A transportation package to Tortuguero National Park and La Fortuna/Arenal, San Jose and Monteverde: pick up at your hotel. After your stay in Tortuguero, you will take a boat trip to La Pavona or Moin Harbor, depending on your destination. You choose your destination: San Jose, La Fortuna, Monteverde & Cahuita / Puerto Viejo.

Approximate arrival time in La Fortuna 2:00 pm, San José: 6:00 pm, Monteverde 4:00 pm, Cahuita / Puerto Viejo: 2:00 pm

You can choose your pick up/drop off in San Jose, La Fortuna, Sarapiqui and Cahuita/Puerto Viejo $150 

If your destination is Monteverde, the total cost is ($45 extra cost)

From La Fortuna to Monteverde through secondary roads by 4×4 and boat transportation through lake Arenal. Jeep, Boat Shuttle, Jeep
